Tibetan Hound
Tibetan Hound (Definite Introduction)

The Tibetan Hound is an ancient breed that originated in Tibet, China. However, the word "hound" is just its name. As for hunting, they have never participated in it. It can be said that it is "famous". For a long time, they were companion dogs living in temples. Tibetan hounds are said to be "prayer dogs" used for prayers and blessings in Tibet. They often follow the prayer carts covered by monks with parchment, giving people a sense of nobility.

Structurally they are very similar to the Pekingese, and this dog rarely suffers from respiratory and back diseases. In the 8th century AD, a breed very similar to the Tibetan Hound appeared in South Korea, but it is not known whether it was transmitted from Tibet.
